It is not true that everyone alive has Neanderthal DNA. My 23&Me personal profile is about 55% West African, 10% East African and 35% British Irish. Less than 2% of my genetic profile is Indigenous American and Southeast Asian. My female haplogroup is the world’s oldest dating back 200,000 years to southeast Africa. There is no Neanderthal DNA in my genetic makeup or in my family.
